The idea of playing bowls on Posada was spawned in 2008 by 6 residents on the
park who used to play bowls in the UK. They purchased a length of carpet 2
meters in width and 15 meters in length and started to play indoor carpet bowls.
Other residents got interested and the club was formed. From there the club grew
from strength to strength and started playing outdoor bowls on the coast.
The management on the park was approached with regard to a competition standard
bowls green being built; this was agreed and opened in December of 2010.
