Bus Transport
Spain's bus services are provided by many different companies all working locally to the area where you are based. The routes of all these companies provide a comprehensive and extensive network throughout the country. The Spanish bus system provides links to most local villages, towns and longer excursions between all the major cities. For both short and longer journeys they are recommended as a form of transport.

The bus services in Spain are comfortable, well priced and efficient. Although referred to as 'buses' in most cases they are air conditioned coaches. Bus stops are plenty and easily found along the coast and bus stations are always centrally located in the towns and cities. Antequera bus station as an example is within 5 minutes easy walking of the main centre. |

Antequera has a good bus station and links can be found here to all the surrounding main Andalucian cities such as Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada and Malaga. From these centres you can then link to most other destinations.
Of course for the towns surrounding Antequera there are also frequent daily connections. In most cases the bus will service more than one village or town on each journey so a 15 minutes car journey may well take 45 to an hour. Nonetheless you will get a comfortable journey as well as getting to see other places on route.
From Antequera there are connections to the surrounding towns of Mollina, Alameda, Fuente de Piedra, Sierra de Yeguas, Campillos, Archidona, Humilladero, and many more and there will be buses running between early morning and early evening. Timetables from Antequera vary from route to route.
